The "One heart, one sail" project
In 2006, Novedia chose to support "Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque", a benevolent association of cardiac surgeons who operate on children with heart malformations.
Through a humanitarian sports project, created by Christine Chabaud ("One heart, one sail"), Novedia sponsors a sailboat competing in major sailing races and also makes donations and promotes the association's cause.
In this way Novedia is able to demonstrate not only its solidatory for a project close to its heart but also convey its appetence for challenge, competition and openess to innovation.
The group chose a sailboat from the brand new Class40, a high-spirited emerging category that brings together a large number of competitors.
Novedia's sponsorship of this sailboat is now in its fourth year, starting with its architectural design and the implementation of processes and quality tools and leading to the formation of competent teams, the acquisition of technological expertise and preparation for the competitions.
We have seen a real resemblance with the group's own evolution in the matter of projects undertaken and the acquisition of necessary expertise.
