Since 2006, Novedia sponsors the Patronage Cardiac Surgery team and each year saves the lives of 2 children who suffer from cardiac malformation.
Nearly 8 children out of a 1000 in the world are born with a heart deformity.
These illnesses, resulting from infectious or congenital causes, are very incapacitating and often lethal. Most of the time, a chirurgical treatment is the only way to save these children. In most cases, due to financial reasons or a lack of appropriate infrastructures, those children cannot be operated.
The Patronage brings the children to France where they are welcomed, operated and supervised during the whole convalescence phase, before they can return to their family.
