&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
The conception of this strategy, according to the regulatory and commercial specificities of the clients which are particular to the country, is a key factor of the project’ success. The study details all the existing solutions of M-payment on the African continent and describes each economic model, the customer experiences, the positioning of the service, the financial agreements with the bank contractors and distribution partners. The aim of the operator is to have all the necessary information to develop its own service in its country.

- &lt;b&gt;Competitive analysis of the Internet ecosystem (positioning of media groups, operators, aggregators and content providers)&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
- &lt;b&gt;Barriers to entry&lt;/b&gt; (connections with operators, market maturity)
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
- &lt;b&gt;Revenue perspectives&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
The second phase consisted of making strategic recommendations and providing a detailed roll-out plan.

A team of 4 Novedia consultants defined the product portfolio, marketing plan and specifications. They also detailed the key differentiating aspects and the lines of communication to be developed around this portfolio.

&lt;b&gt;4 key products were selected&lt;/b&gt;:

- &lt;b&gt;Enriched content&lt;/b&gt; (music, video / TV, HD photos...) and videophony in order to associate MTS with the values of innovation, far from its image as an institutional operator. Enriched the contents enabled MTS to communicate and position themselves within entertaining and popular products with high impact on younger generations, a highly volatile and competitive segment of the Russian market.
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
- &lt;b&gt;Videophone&lt;/b&gt; enabled the firm to differentiate itself from the competition and their GPRS or EDGE networks.
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
- &lt;b&gt;Internet access &lt;/b&gt;gave MTS the means to offer customers high-speed broadband connection, both inside and outside their homes. In Russia and the CEI, like in many fast developing countries, Internet users are highly frustrated by the fact that fixed networks are incapable of providing businesses and households with broadband access. Access through wireless networks is a very efficient alternative solution.
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
- &lt;b&gt;Email&lt;/b&gt; is the most profitable application on the high speed networks. It fulfils both personal and professional needs. G provides a much higher quality client experience than GPRS or EDGE.
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;

Today, Novedia Consulting’s assistance has enabled the MTS group to rethink its priorities from a market point of vie since, until recently, numerous investments were initiated mainly through a technical field. &lt;br /&gt;Strengthened by these achievements, the group's marketing executives widened the scope of Novedia Consulting team's assignment. As a result, we were able to contribute to many other strategic projects linked to the launch of 3G, such as content strategy, TV on mobile phones, terminals, convergent offers and setting up new strategic partnerships with other leading brands in the sector.
